How is the Regular Citizen Reception by the Police Organized?
According to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 6 of Circular 98/2021/TT-BCA (Effective December 3, 2021), the organization of regular citizen reception by the Police is as follows:
- Police at all levels shall organize the reception of citizens who come to file complaints, denunciations, recommendations, and reflections at the citizen reception locations of their agencies or units during office hours on working days of the week;
- The Inspectorate of the Ministry, the Inspectorate of units under the Ministry, and the Inspectorate of the Provincial Police shall arrange leaders and inspection officers to regularly receive citizens at the citizen reception locations of their units and localities. In necessary cases or when assigned by the direct superior, the Chief Inspector of the Ministry, the Chief Inspector of a unit under the Ministry, and the Chief Inspector of the Provincial Police must directly receive citizens.
