Are graduates with honors considered for official recruitment?
According to Article 10 of Decree 138/2020/ND-CP, the regulations are as follows:
- The recruitment of officials through selection is decided by the authorized recruitment agency and is conducted separately for each of the following groups:
a) Individuals who commit to volunteering to work for 5 years or more in particularly difficult socio-economic regions;
b) Individuals studying under mandated policies according to the provisions of the Education Law, returning to work at the locality where they were sent for education upon graduation;
c) Graduates with honors, talented young scientists.
- The recruitment for the group specified at point c, clause 1 of this Article is carried out in accordance with the regulations of the Government of Vietnam on policies to attract and source employees from graduates with honors and young scientific staff.
According to the aforementioned regulations, graduates with honors are eligible for official recruitment.
Content and form of official recruitment selection
Based on Article 11 of this Decree, the content and form of official recruitment selection are defined as follows:
Official recruitment selection is conducted in 2 rounds as follows:
- Round 1
Condition check for the applicants' registration form according to the requirements of the job position needed; if all conditions are met, the applicant can proceed to round 2.
- Round 2
a) Interview to assess the knowledge and skills in performing public duties of the applicant according to the requirements of the job position needed;
b) Interview duration is 30 minutes (the candidate will have no more than 15 minutes to prepare before the interview);
c) Scoring scale: 100 points.
