Government regulations on policies for information and reporting in crime prevention and control
Based on Article 9 of Decision 165/QD-BCĐ138/CP in 2020, the following information and reporting policies are stipulated:
- The Steering Committee shall report periodically on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis and provide ad hoc reports. The Standing Agency of the Steering Committee shall provide specific guidance on the format, time, and content of reports to the Steering Committee; consolidate and prepare periodic reports for the Steering Committee.
- The Standing Agency of the Steering Committee 138/CP, members of the Steering Committee 138/CP who are leaders of ministries and central authorities at the central level, and the Heads of the Steering Committee 138 of provinces and cities under central authority shall strictly adhere to the regulations on information and reporting as stipulated in the Operating Regulations of the Steering Committee and other related regulations; promptly report to the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam and the Head of the Steering Committee 138/CP on security and order incidents, serious crimes, complex cases, high-profile issues, and matters of public concern. The Standing Office of the Steering Committee 138/CP shall closely monitor the criminal situation and, on a weekly and monthly basis, submit written reports to the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam and the Head of the Steering Committee 138/CP regarding the situation and results of the crime prevention and combat efforts; the Office of the Government of Vietnam shall be responsible for checking and urging the implementation.
