Functions of the District Department of Internal Affairs

The functions of the District Department of Internal Affairs are stipulated in Clause 5, Article 1 of Decree 108/2020/ND-CP, as follows:

- Advise and assist the District People’s Committee in performing the state management functions on:

- Organizational structure; job positions, staffing, and official ranks in state administrative agencies and organizations; job positions, public employee structures according to professional titles, and the number of people working in public service providers; salaries for officials and public employees, contract workers in administrative agencies, public service providers; administrative reforms; local government; administrative divisions; officials and public employees; commune-level officials and non-specialized activists at commune level, in villages, and residential groups; associations, non-governmental organizations; state archival and documentation; beliefs, religions; youth work; emulation and commendation.
