Forms of Disciplinary Actions for Negligent Loss of Military Weapons
Article 28, Circular 16/2020/TT-BQP stipulates the disciplinary actions to be taken for unintentionally losing military weapons as follows:
- Unintentionally losing or damaging military weapons or military technical equipment shall be subject to disciplinary actions ranging from reprimand, warning to demotion in rank or reduction in salary grade.
- In case of violations under one of the following circumstances, the disciplinary actions shall range from demotion, dismissal, revocation of officer rank to stripping of military title, and forced resignation:
+ Being a commander or officer;
+ During combat or combat readiness;
+ Failing to take proactive preventive measures.
