Execution of Security, Order, and Social Safety Tasks in Da Nang City
Based on Article 32 of Decree 34/2021/ND-CP which stipulates the organization of the execution of tasks related to security, order, and social safety in the city of Da Nang as follows:
- Within the scope of their duties and powers, the People's Committee of Da Nang city organizes the execution of tasks related to security, ensuring order, and social safety in the districts and wards according to legal regulations and the following specific tasks:
a) Organize the execution of tasks to protect national security, ensure order, and social safety according to legal regulations and tasks assigned by the competent authority to protect national security, ensure order, and social safety;
b) Organize the establishment of the people's security foundation, the people's security posture in tandem with the strong all-people national defense foundation, the all-people national defense posture, participate in building the people's police force, thereby contributing to strengthening the capability to protect national security, ensure order, and social safety; carry out national defense and security education according to legal regulations;
c) Assign the People's Committees of districts and wards to direct the district and ward police to perform tasks of protecting security and order, social safety in their areas; implement policies for forces participating in the protection of security and order at the grassroots level; lead or coordinate in the construction, management, and protection of important projects related to national security within the districts and wards;
d) Direct the People's Committees of districts and wards to cooperate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of districts and wards and their member organizations, as well as other relevant agencies and organizations in executing tasks to protect security, and order, and social safety in the districts and wards;
e) Direct the People's Committees of districts and wards to comply with inspections, audits, the resolution of complaints, denunciations, and handling of legal violations in their areas; conduct preliminary and final reviews of the execution of tasks related to security and order, social safety in the districts and wards.
- The chairman of districts and wards shall propose and coordinate the execution of tasks stipulated in Clause 1 of this Article as assigned by the People's Committee of Da Nang city and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang city.
