Entitled to Receive First-time Allowance for the Second Time?
According to Article 6 of Decree 76/2019/ND-CP, it is stipulated:
Subjects specified in Article 2 of this Decree upon receiving their first assignment at an agency, organization, or unit in an area with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions shall receive the following allowances:
An initial allowance equal to 10 months of the statutory pay rate at the time of receiving the assignment in the area with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions.
In the case that the family also moves to work in the area with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions, in addition to the initial allowance, they are also entitled to:
a) Travel expenses, baggage fees for family members who move together, calculated according to the actual ticket prices and baggage fees of public transportation means or reimbursed based on a lump-sum payment calculated by multiplying the actual distance traveled (kilometers) by the unit price of a common public transportation means (train, boat, passenger car);
b) An allowance of 12 months’ statutory pay rate for the family.
**=> Therefore, if this is your first time receiving an assignment in an area with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions, you will be entitled to the allowances. However, if you have previously signed an indefinite-term contract in such an area and have received the initial allowance, and now you have passed the public employee exam, you will not be entitled to the initial allowance again.**Respectfully.
