According to Article 27 of the Military Service Law 1981, it is stipulated that the Military Service Council of provinces, centrally-managed cities, and equivalent levels have the duty to assist the People's Committee in:
1- Directing the activities of the Military Service Council at the district, district-level town, and provincial city levels;
2- Reviewing and resolving citizens' complaints and denunciations regarding decisions of the People's Committee at the district, district-level town, and provincial city levels on the conscription, deferment of conscription, and exemption from military service.
Complaints and denunciations must be resolved no later than one month from the date of receipt; in cases requiring longer investigation, resolutions must be completed no later than two months.
While the citizens' complaints and denunciations are under review, the decision of the People's Committee at the district, district-level town, and provincial city levels remains in effect.
