Do Communist Party members have the right to know the party activity schedule?
Section II, Guidance 12-HD/BTCTW in 2018 stipulates:
For Regular Meetings:
- The Secretary or Deputy Secretary of the cell party prepares the meeting content, drafts the resolution (if any), or estimates the conclusion content of the meeting.
- Hold a meeting of the cell party committee (Secretary, Deputy Secretary in places without a cell party committee) to unify the meeting content, evaluate the results of the cell party’s leadership in the month, and plan tasks for the next month; identify key issues that need to be discussed, debated, and voted on by the cell party; and provide opinions on the draft resolution (if any).
- Notify the time, location, and content of the cell party meeting to the party members and the upper-level committee members assigned to monitor the cell party.
=> Thus, according to the above regulation, party members have the right to be notified of the time, location, and content of the cell party meetings.
