Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City is recruiting public employees for the first phase of 2024

On June 18, 2024, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City issued Announcement 3719/TB-SGDDT 2024 regarding the recruitment of public employees for the first phase of the 2024-2025 academic year for public service providers under its jurisdiction.

The Department of Education and Training is recruiting for 30 positions with a total of 337 public employees, including:

- 263 public employees for teaching positions in various subjects.

- 74 public employees for staff positions.

Furthermore, candidates for these 30 positions are allowed to register two preferences.

What is the examination fee for the recruitment of public employees at the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City?

According to Section 8 of Announcement 3719/TB-SGDDT 2024, the examination fee for the recruitment of public employees at the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City is as follows:

In accordance with Circular 92/2021/TT-BTC, the Department of Education and Training collects a recruitment fee for the first phase of the 2024-2025 academic year, amounting to 300,000 VND per candidate when submitting the registration form.

What are the criteria and requirements for registration in each job position for the first phase of recruitment for public employees at the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City?

According to Subsection 3.2 Section 3 of Announcement 3719/TB-SGDDT 2024, the criteria and requirements for registration in each job position for the first phase of recruitment for public employees at the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City are as follows:

(1) Candidates for the position of Subject Teachers (Occupation title: Secondary School Teachers - Grade 3 - Code V07.05.15) must meet the following criteria:

Must meet the training and development standards as prescribed: have a bachelor's degree or higher in teacher training in secondary education.

In case of having a bachelor's degree in a relevant field but not in teacher training, they must have a certificate of pedagogical training for secondary school teachers according to the program issued by the Minister of Education and Training.

(2) Candidates for staff positions must meet the corresponding training and development standards for the specific occupational title, as follows:

(2.1) For the position of Office Clerks:

- Occupation title: Office Clerk - Code 02.007:

Must have a university degree or higher in the field or major of office administration, archives, archival studies, or office administration and management. In case of having a university degree in a different major, they must have a certificate of office administration training issued by an authorized training institution. Alternatively, they can have a diploma or vocational certificate in office administration, archives, or archival studies.

- Occupation title: Intermediate Office Clerk - Code 02.008:

Must have a vocational or higher diploma in the field or major of office administration, archives, archival studies, or archival and information management. In case of having a vocational or higher diploma in a different major, they must have a certificate of office administration training issued by an authorized training institution.

(2.2) For the position of Librarians:

- Occupation title: Librarian - Grade 3 - Code V.10.02.06:

Must have a university degree or higher in the field of information sciences or library science. In case of having a university degree in a different major, they must have a certificate of knowledge and professional skills training in the field of information sciences or library science issued by an authorized agency or organization.

- Occupation title: Librarian - Grade 4 - Code V.10.02.07:

Must have a vocational or higher diploma in the field of information sciences or library science. In case of having a vocational or higher diploma in a different major, they must have a certificate of knowledge and professional skills training in the field of information sciences or library science issued by an authorized agency or organization.

(2.3) For the Equipment and Laboratory position (Occupation title: Equipment and Laboratory Staff - Code V.07.07.20):

Must have a diploma or higher in the field of school equipment technology or a diploma or higher in other relevant majors suitable for the equipment and laboratory position in secondary schools.

(2.4) For the Information Technology position:

- Occupation title: Information Technology Grade III - Code V.11.06.14:

Must have a university degree or higher in the field of information technology or a closely related field.
Occupation title: Information Technology Grade IV - Code V.11.06.15:
Must have a vocational or higher diploma in the field of information technology or a closely related field.

(2.5) For the Special Education Support position (Occupation title: Special Education Support Staff - Code V.07.06.16):

Must have a diploma or higher in the field of special education support or a diploma or higher in one of the fields or professions within the education, psychology, social work, or health sectors (as regulated by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs).

(2.6) For the Accounting position:

- Occupation title: Accountant - Code 06.031:

Must have a university degree or higher in the majors of accounting, auditing, or finance.
- Occupation title: Intermediate Accountant - Code 06.032:

Must have a diploma or higher in the majors of accounting, auditing, or finance.

(2.7) For the Treasurer position (Occupation title: Staff - Code 01.005):

Must have a diploma or higher in the majors of accounting, auditing, or finance that is appropriate for the requirements of the treasurer position.

(2.8) For the Healthcare position (Occupation title: Medical Assistant Grade 4 - Code V.08.03.07):

Must have a vocational or higher diploma in medical assistant at the intermediate level.

(2.9) For the Administrative position (Occupation title: Administrative Staff - Code V.07.07.21):

Must have a diploma or higher in pedagogy (or a diploma or higher in other relevant majors suitable for the administrative position).

Note: Priority in recruiting civil servants:

- Armed Forces Heroes, Labor Heroes, war veterans, policy beneficiaries such as disabled veterans, Category B disabled veterans: Will receive an additional 7.5 points in the results of the second round.

- Ethnic minorities, military officers, police officers, professional military personnel, personnel transferring from essential positions, graduates of officer training, graduates of military command training at the district level in the military sector, who have been awarded the reserve officer rank, children of martyrs, children of disabled veterans, children of sick veterans, children of policy beneficiaries such as disabled veterans, children of Category B disabled veterans, children of birth mothers exposed to chemical toxins, children of Armed Forces Heroes, children of Labor Heroes: Will receive an additional 5 points in the results of the second round.

- Individuals who have completed military service, mandatory participation in the People's Police, or youth union members who have volunteered for national defense tasks: Will receive an additional 2.5 points in the results of the second round.

- Trade union leaders who have grown up from grassroots level, in the workers' movement: Will receive an additional 1.5 points in the results of the second round.

In cases where the candidate is eligible for multiple priority categories, only the highest priority points will be added to the results of the second round.
