Standards for Appointing the Editor-in-Chief of Newspapers, Magazines, and Director of the Press and Communication Center of the Ministry of Health
Based on Article 19 of Decision 2969/QD-BYT in 2021, the standards for appointing the Editor-in-Chief of Newspapers, Magazines, and Director of the Press and Communication Center of the Ministry of Health are as follows:
Professional qualifications: Must hold a university degree or higher, with a major suitable to the field and job being undertaken.
Political theory and management qualifications:
a) Graduate in advanced political theory, political bachelor, or have a confirmation of equivalent advanced political theory by the competent authority;
b) Possess a certificate in training for management staff at departmental level or equivalent;
c) Hold a state management certificate in journalism; the Editor-in-Chief of a Newspaper must have a valid journalist card.
Experience in work and management: Must have held a managerial position at deputy unit level or equivalent for at least 01 year or had working experience in the relevant field for at least 05 years (excluding probationary period).
Standards for Appointing Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Newspapers, Magazines, and Deputy Director of the Press and Communication Center of the Ministry of Health?
According to Article 20 of Decision 2969/QD-BYT in 2021, the standards for appointing the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Newspapers, Magazines, and Deputy Director of the Press and Communication Center of the Ministry of Health are as follows:
Professional qualifications:
a) In charge of professional matters: Must hold a university degree or higher, with a major suitable to the field and job being undertaken;
b) In charge of economics: Must hold a university degree or higher in economics, finance, accounting-auditing; if graduated from another university must have a certificate in economic-financial management (studying period from 6 months or more).
Political theory and management qualifications:
a) Graduate in advanced political theory, political bachelor, or have a confirmation of equivalent advanced political theory by the competent authority;
b) Possess a certificate in training for management staff at departmental level or equivalent;
c) Hold a state management certificate in journalism for the deputy in charge of professional matters.
Experience in work and management: Must have held a managerial position at department/room level or equivalent for at least 01 year or had working experience in the relevant field and job for at least 03 years (excluding probationary period).
