Conferences and Meetings According to the Working Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training - How Are They Regulated and What Are the Forms of Conferences and Meetings?
1. Regulations on conferences and meetings
Pursuant to Clause 1, Article 17 of the Working Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (Issued together with Decision 355/QD-BGDDT in 2022) regarding the organization of conferences and meetings as follows:
a) Conferences: including task deployment conferences (to thoroughly disseminate and implement nationwide significant, important, and urgent policies of the Communist Party and the State under the management sector of the Ministry of Education and Training), preliminary and summary conferences evaluating the annual task performance plan of the Ministry, thematic conferences (deployment, preliminary, summary of one or several themes), training conferences on professional work with national scope or many localities participating;
b) Meetings: including meetings chaired by the Ministry’s leaders and meetings chaired by leaders of units under the Ministry to resolve tasks according to their functions, duties, authority in planned tasks or unexpected tasks.
2. Determining the form of conferences, meetings
Additionally, Clause 2 of this Article also stipulates the determination of the form of conferences, meetings as follows:
a) Based on the content, scale, participants, technical means conditions, and actual situation, the Ministry's leaders decide the form of organizing direct conferences, meetings or online conferences, online meetings to ensure efficiency, convenience, economy, and state secret security. The Office and the Information Technology Department are responsible for technical preparations for the conferences, meetings chaired by the Ministry’s leaders;
b) Encouraging units to organize online conferences, meetings for meetings with many participants. Organize online conferences, meetings in cases of disease, natural disasters, and other force majeure circumstances.
