Conditions for Admission to the Communist Party under Current Regulations
Based on Article 1 of Regulation 24-QD/TW in 2021 regarding the age and educational level of individuals into the Communist Party, as follows:
- Article 1 (Clause 2): Age and educational level of individuals into the Communist Party
1.1. Regarding age.
1.1.1. At the time the division considers admission, individuals into the Communist Party must be at least 18 years old and no older than 60 years old (calculated by month).
1.1.2. Admission to the Communist Party of those over 60 years old is subject to review and decision by the Central Subordinate Party Committee.
1.2. Regarding the educational level.
1.2.1. Individuals into the Communist Party must have at least a middle school diploma.
1.2.2. The educational level of individuals living in mountainous areas, islands, regions of ethnic minorities, areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions, and other specific cases where the general requirements cannot be met due to the need for party development shall be guided by the Secretariat.
Therefore, if you want to be admitted to the Communist Party, you must fully meet the above conditions.
Duties that Communist Party Members Must Successfully Complete
According to Article 2 of Guidance 01-HD/TW in 2021 regarding the duties that Communist Party members must successfully complete. Specifically:
- Communist Party members must successfully complete the assigned duties
2.1. Assigned duties include:
- Duties stipulated by the Communist Party charter.
- Duties assigned by the party organization, government, agencies, units, the Fatherland Front, and other political-social organizations.
2.2. Successfully completing assigned duties means completing them with quality, efficiency, and within the prescribed time frame.
2.3. Assigning tasks to members means assigning them responsibilities within the leadership scope of the division, such as: Building a clean and strong division; Developing party members; Building a strong government and organizations; Building a cultural life in residential areas; Ensuring security and order; Preventing and combating corruption, wastefulness, and social evils, etc. The division is responsible for assisting, inspecting, and supervising the members in their tasks, incorporating it into the annual evaluation of member quality. Members assigned tasks must report to the division periodically or upon request. The higher-level party committees frequently direct, inspect, supervise the implementation and draw lessons.
2.4. Assessment of successfully completing assigned duties is based on periodic work reviews of members at the division; evaluations of the committee, government, or agency, unit, Fatherland Front, political-social organization executive boards (where members participate in these organizations) within the leadership scope of the division.
