Case of Official Being Temporarily Suspended
According to Clause 1, Article 81 of the Law on Cadres and Civil Servants 2008 stipulates:
Agencies, organizations, or units managing officials may issue a decision to temporarily suspend work during the period of reviewing and handling the discipline of officials if allowing them to continue working could cause difficulties for the review and handling process. The duration of temporary suspension from work shall not exceed 15 days; if necessary, it may be extended but for no more than an additional 15 days. If officials are temporarily detained or held in custody to serve investigation, prosecution, or trial, the time of temporary detention or custody is counted as justified leave; upon the expiration of the temporary suspension period, if officials are not disciplined, they shall be reinstated to their former positions.
Thus, your father will be temporarily suspended if he causes difficulties for the disciplinary review process.
Sincerely!
