Based on Article 10 of the 2014 Law on the Organization of the People's Procuracy, the provisions are as follows:
The National Assembly, its agencies, deputies, delegations of deputies, the People's Council, deputies of the People's Council, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and member organizations of the Front shall supervise the activities of the People's Procuracy as stipulated by law.
Thus, according to the above provisions, the People's Council shall have the authority to supervise the activities of the People's Procuracy.
