What are conditions for admitting Party members in Vietnam?

a) About age.

- Only consider admitting people over 60 years old to the Party when they meet the following conditions: Have good health and reputation; are working or residing in establishments that have no party organization, no party members or due to special requirements; be approved in writing by the Standing Committee of the Central Party Committee before the competent Party Committee makes the admission decision.

b) Regarding educational level

- People who join the Party must have a secondary school diploma or higher.

- Education of Party members living in mountainous areas, islands, ethnic minority areas, areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions and other specific cases due to development requirements. If the party cannot ensure the general regulations, it will follow the instructions of the Secretariat.

People joining the Party are living in mountainous areas, border areas, islands, ethnic minority areas and areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions or fishermen who regularly work on the sea or islands, if not guaranteed according to the Regulations implementing the Party Charter of the Central Executive Committee, term XIII, must have a minimum educational level of completion of the primary school program.

The educational level of people joining the Party is village elders, village heads, reputable people, living in mountainous areas, border areas, islands, ethnic minority areas and areas with poor socio-economic conditions with especially difficult or fishermen who regularly work at sea or on islands must at least be able to read and write the national language and have written approval from the Standing Committee of the Party Committee directly under the Central Government before the competent Party Committee makes the admission decision.

People who join the Party must attend a Party awareness training class and have a certificate issued by a district-level political center or equivalent; Where there is no political center, it will be issued by the party committee with authority to admit party members.

e) There is a voluntary application to join the Party

People who join the Party must make their own application, clearly presenting their understanding of the Party's purpose and ideals, and their motivation for applying to join the Party.

g) Honestly report your background to the cell

People who join the Party declare their personal history fully, clearly and honestly according to regulations and are responsible for the declared content; If there is any issue that you do not understand or remember correctly, you must report it to the cell.

The resume must be verified and concluded by the local party committee before recording the certification content, signing and stamping.

h) Be officially introduced by two party members

Where the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union is organized, people who join the Party at a young age must be union members and be officially introduced by the grassroots union executive committee and a party member.

In agencies and businesses where there is no Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union organization, people who join the Party must be trade union members and be officially introduced by the grassroots trade union executive committee and a party member.
