Graduating with honors from university, can it qualify for official recruitment?
Based on Article 10 of Decree 138/2020/ND-CP, the subjects for official recruitment are specified as follows:
- Recruitment of officials through selection form is decided by the competent authority recruiting officials and is conducted separately for each of the following groups:
a) Those who commit to voluntarily work for 05 years or more in areas with particularly challenging socio-economic conditions;
b) Those who study under policies assigned according to the provisions of the Education Law, after graduation, return to work at the locality where they were sent to study;
c) Students graduating with honors, talented young scientists.
- Recruitment for the subjects specified at point c, clause 1 of this Article is implemented according to the regulations of the Government of Vietnam on policies to attract and create sources of personnel from students graduating with honors and young scientific staff.
Thus, you, as a law major university student graduating with honors, belong to the group eligible for official recruitment through the selection form.
How many minutes is the interview for the second round of official recruitment?
According to Article 11 of Decree 138/2020/ND-CP, the content and form of official recruitment examination are regulated as follows:
Official recruitment examination is conducted in 2 rounds as follows:
- Round 1
Checking the eligibility for recruitment according to the Registration Form for recruitment as required by the job position, if eligible, the candidate will proceed to round 2.
- Round 2
a) Interview to assess the knowledge and skills of the candidate to perform public duties as required by the job position;
b) Interview duration: 30 minutes (the candidate has no more than 15 minutes to prepare before the interview);
c) Scoring scale: 100 points.
Candidates for official recruitment when conducting interviews in round 2 will have an interview time of 30 minutes (with no more than 15 minutes to prepare before the interview).
