Can Communist Party Members on the List for Election to the Party Cell Executive Committee Have Their Votes Counted?
Based on the provisions specified in Clause 1, Article 7, Decision 244-QD/TW in 2014:
The vote-counting committee is the election assistance body of the congress introduced by the presidium and approved by the congress through voting. The vote-counting committee includes a number of official delegates in the representative congress, or a number of official party members in the party member congress who are not listed in the election list.
Thus, according to this provision, only party members not listed in the election list can become members of the vote-counting committee. Therefore, in cases where you are nominated for the new term branch executive committee, you cannot be introduced as a member of the vote-counting committee.
Regarding the number of members of the vote-counting committee: current law does not limit the specific number of members of the vote-counting committee.
The number of members of the vote-counting committee at congresses at all levels is selected and introduced by the presidium of the congress; the congress approves through voting in accordance with Clause 1, Article 7 of this Decision.
Respectfully!
