Pursuant to Subsection 1 Section IV Article 1 of the Decision 318/QĐ-TTg in 2023 stipulating the urban system planning plan of Khanh Hoa province as follows:

By 2030, Khanh Hoa will have 02 grade I urban areas (Nha Trang city and Cam Lam - new urban area), 01 grade II urban area (Cam Ranh city), 01 grade III urban area, 02 grade IV urban areas and other grade V urban areas. In which:

- Nha Trang city is a nucleus;

- Cam Ranh city is a tourism - logistics city;

- Cam Lam district becomes a modern, ecological and world-class airport urban area;

- Van Ninh district becomes a high-class beach tourism urban area;

- Ninh Hoa town is an industrial city

- Dien Khanh district is a traditional ecological and cultural urban area;

- Khanh Son and Khanh Vinh districts are mountainous ecological sub-urban areas.

What is the specific goal of Khanh Hoa province to have an average GRDP growth rate of 8.3%/year in the 2021-2030 period?

Specific Goal

- Economic:

+ The average growth rate of GRDP in the period 2021 - 2030 will reach 8.3%/year; in which: Agriculture, forestry and fishery increased by 2.4%/year, Industry - construction increased by 10%/year; Services increased by 8.7%/year. Economic structure by 2030: Agriculture, forestry and fishery account for 7.3%; Industry - construction accounted for 36.2%; Services accounted for 48%; Product tax minus product subsidies accounted for 8.5%.

+ GRDP per capita is 189 million VND.

+ Average labor productivity growth in the period 2021 - 2030 will reach 7.0%/year.

+ The rate of urbanization reaches 70%.

+ Total tourist arrivals reached 13.8 million, including 7 million international visitors and 6.8 million domestic tourists.

+ Digital economy accounts for about 30% of GRDP.

- About society:

+ The multidimensional poverty rate decreases by about 1.0 - 1.5%/year.

+ The rate of trained workers reaches 90%; the rate of workers with degrees and certificates reaches 40%.

+ Labor structure: Agriculture, forestry and fishery is about 18 - 19%; industry - construction 30 - 31% and services: 50 - 51%.

+ Average life expectancy reaches 75 years; healthy life expectancy (in years) reaches 68 years.

+ The rate of people participating in health insurance reaches 98% of the population; reach 40 hospital beds/10,000 people (of which 34 public hospital beds/10,000 people; 06 private hospital beds/10,000 people); 14 doctors/10,000 people (of which 11 are public doctors/10,000 people or more).

- About environment:

+ Maintain forest coverage rate at 46.5%.

+ 100% of the rural population has access to hygienic water, of which 85% has access to clean water; the percentage of urban population supplied with clean water through a centralized water supply system reaches 100%. Ensure water supply for industrial zones and clusters.

+ The rate of hazardous waste collected, transported and treated according to regulations reaches 100%; the rate of daily-life solid waste collected reaches 100% and treated according to regulations reaches 90%; reduce the proportion of municipal solid waste treated by direct landfill technology on the total amount of collected waste to less than 10%.

Develop Nha Trang city as an economic, political, cultural, social, scientific, technological and human resource training center; more effectively promote the role of an important growth pole, the gateway for international integration of Khanh Hoa province.
