Are Vietnamese citizens with a height of 1.6m eligible for performing police duty?
According to Table No. 1 Appendix 01 issued in conjunction with Circular 45/2019/TT-BCA stipulating the classification standards by physical strength in Vietnam:

The BMI index will be considered in cases of being overly overweight or underweight, excluding cases with BMI ≥30 or BMI <18.5 and cases with height >195 cm.
Furthermore, Clause 3, Article 5 of Circular 45 specifies that only Vietnamese citizens whose health is classified as types 1 and 2, and who meet the special indices as prescribed in Article 6 of this Circular are recruited.
Therefore, if you are 1.60 meters tall, you may be classified as type 3 health. Hence, this case does not meet the health requirements to perform police duty in Vietnam. However, you still undergo a pre-enlistment health check-up to get the most accurate conclusion from the Pre-Enlistment Check-Up Council.
Respectfully!
