When you become a People's Police soldier and are assigned accommodation in the barracks, is the accommodation spacious? Please answer.

Pursuant to Article 13 of Decree 18/2013/ND-CP stipulating norms for using clean water in daily life as follows:

1. The norm for using clean water in daily life that meets the standards is 130 - 150 liters of domestic water per person/day, applicable to areas with clean water sources.

2. Units stationed in areas that do not have a shared clean water source will be equipped with machinery, equipment, and chemicals to exploit and treat water sources or be given money to buy water, ensuring enough 130 - 150 liters of water for each person/day.

3. The clean water usage norm for Police Hospitals is guaranteed to meet standards of 250 liters/bed/day and night.

Thus, depending on the area where the People's Public Security unit is stationed, the standards for using clean water for each People's Public Security soldier are different. You can still use clean water for personal hygiene and cleaning but do not exceed the given limit in Vietnam.

Is the collective accommodation of People's Public Security soldiers spacious in Vietnam?

According to Article 14 of Decree 18/2013/ND-CP regulating standards for the area of ​​working houses, collective houses, official houses, guest houses, resorts, sanatoriums, public activities and other auxiliary programs in the barracks are as follows:

1. Workplace area standards include workplace standards for police commanding officers at all levels and workplace standards for full-time officers and non-commissioned officers.

2. Barrack collective housing area standards are divided according to officer ranks from second lieutenant to senior lieutenant and non-commissioned officer; Soldiers and students in the People's Public Security ensure an average living area of ​​at least 4.5 m2 and a maximum of 6 m2 per person.

3. Standard public service housing area for current officers who do not have a house or private land and need a house to live due to implementing the policy of mobilization and rotation from one place to another can rent 01 unit. public housing apartments according to the provisions of Decision No. 09/2008/QD-TTg dated January 11, 2008 of the Prime Minister promulgating regulations on design principles and standards for use of public housing. Official housing for officers is implemented in accordance with the provisions of the Housing Law and its guiding documents. For official housing invested by units of the Ministry of Public Security, the Minister of Public Security shall specifically stipulate subjects eligible to rent public housing; the design, construction, management and use of public housing and the process of designing and investing in construction of public housing in the People's Public Security.

4. Area standards for a number of public and other auxiliary works in the barracks are classified according to specific Police units.

5. Standards for the area of ​​guest houses, resorts, and sanatoriums in the People's Public Security force.

6. Area standards in collective canteens of barracks, schools and hospitals are divided by subjects, including soldiers and non-commissioned officers; officers of the rank of lieutenant or colonel (or with a salary rank from second lieutenant to colonel); General rank (or salary of major general rank) or higher.

7. Sanitary equipment for collective housing and public working houses is provided according to the size of the army. For police units with women, separate arrangements for men and women must be provided.

According to this Article, for collective accommodation of People's Public Security soldiers in Vietnam, the average living area is guaranteed to be a minimum of 4.5 m2 and a maximum of 6 m2 per person.
