Are Disciplined Teachers Subject to Delays in Regular Salary Increases?
According to Clause 2 Article 2 Circular 08/2013/TT-BNV regarding policies for regular salary increases, it is stipulated that:
- Standards for regular salary increases:
The subjects specified in Clause 1 Article 1 of this Circular who have satisfied the duration conditions for holding the rank in the grade or in the title as stipulated in Clause 1 of this Article and have been evaluated to meet the following 02 standards during the entire period of holding the salary grade will be eligible for a regular salary increase:
a) For officials:
- Standard 1: Evaluated by competent authorities at the level of completion of tasks but with limited capacity or higher;- Standard 2: Not violating disciplinary actions in the forms of reprimand, warning, demotion, or dismissal.
b) For public employees and workers:
- Standard 1: Evaluated by competent authorities at the level of completion of tasks or higher;- Standard 2: Not violating disciplinary actions in the forms of reprimand, warning, or dismissal.
Thus, in the case where the teacher at your school is disciplined with a warning, they will not meet the standards for a regular salary increase. Additionally, please refer to the following article: Duration of delayed consideration for regular salary increases for civil servants and workers
