Pursuant to Article 23 of Decree 115/2020/ND-CP stipulating regimes and policies for probationers and instructors as follows:

1. During the probationary period, the probation is entitled to 85% of the salary level 1 of the recruited professional title. In case the probation has a master's degree suitable to the requirements of the job position he is recruiting for, the probation is entitled to 85% of the salary level 2 of the recruited professional title; in case the probation has a doctorate degree suitable to the requirements of the job position he is recruiting for, the probation is entitled to 85% of the level 3 salary of the recruited professional title. Allowances are provided according to the provisions of law.

2. An probation is entitled to 100% of the salary and allowance of the professional title corresponding to the training level specified in Clause 1 of this Article in the following cases:

a) Working in areas with extremely difficult socio-economic conditions;

b) Working in hazardous and dangerous industries and occupations;

c) Complete military service; obligation to participate in the people's police; military officers, police officers, professional servicemen, cipher workers who change majors, graduates of reserve officer training, graduates from the training of commanders of the commune-level military commands of the grassroots military branch and is conferred the rank of reserve officer who registered for the rank of reserve officer, volunteer youth member, and young intellectuals who have volunteered to participate in rural and mountainous development for a full 24 months. or more have completed the task.

3. The probationary period is not included in the salary review period.

4. Instructors are entitled to a responsibility allowance coefficient equal to 0.3 of the base salary during the instructor period.

5. During the probationary period, the probationary instructor and probationer are also entitled to bonuses and other benefits (if any) according to State regulations and regulations of public service units.

Thus, according to the above regulations in Vietnam, because you have completed your military service, you will receive 100% of the salary and allowances of the professional title for which you are admitted.

What are contents of probationary public employees in Vietnam? 

Article 21 of Decree 115/2020/ND-CP stipulates probationary regime of public employees as follows:

1. People recruited as public employees must undergo a probationary period to get familiar with the working environment and practice the tasks of the recruited job position.

2. The probationary period is specified as follows:

a) 12 months in case of recruitment to professional titles that require university training qualifications. Particularly for the professional title of doctor, it is 09 months;

b) 09 months for recruitment to professional titles that require college training qualifications;

c) 06 months in case of recruitment for professional titles that require intermediate training qualifications.

d) Time on maternity leave under the social insurance regime, sick leave from 14 days or more, time off without pay, time in detention, custody or temporary suspension from work according to the provisions of the law does not count towards the probationary period.

In case the probationer takes sick leave or has a legitimate reason for less than 14 days and is approved by the head of the public service unit where the person is recruited as a public employee who is on a probationary period and agrees, this time will be counted as the probationary period.

3. Probationship content:

a) Firmly grasp the provisions of the public employee law on the rights and obligations of public employees and the things public employees are not allowed to do; Master the organizational structure, functions, tasks, and powers of the public service unit where you work; internal rules and working regulations of the unit; responsibilities, tasks and requirements of the recruited job position;

b) Cultivate knowledge and practice capacity, professional skills according to the requirements of the recruited job position;

c) Practice solving and performing the tasks of the recruited job position.

4. During the implementation of the probationary regime, public service units that manage and employ public employees must send public employees to participate in training and refresher courses to complete the standards and conditions of professional titles. prior to appointment. Time spent participating in training and refresher courses is counted as time spent implementing the probationary regime.

5. Do not implement the probationary regime for cases that have worked for a period of time and paid compulsory social insurance in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Social Insurance, and are assigned to work in the correct industry and occupation. training or in accordance with the professional expertise previously held, the working time with social insurance payment (if interrupted, it is cumulative) is equal to or greater than the probationary period corresponding to the probationary period of the position. Occupational titles for recruitment are specified in Clause 2 of this Article. In cases where the probationary regime is not implemented, the head of a public service unit must nominate public employees to participate in a training course to complete the standards and conditions of the public employee's professional title before appointment. 

6. Do not assign or assign work to recruited people who are in the period of implementing the probationary regime to a job position other than the position recruited in the same public service unit or to another unit. other public careers.
