1. What are regulations on local database on housing in Vietnam? 

Pursuant to Article 8 of Decree 44/2022/ND-CP (effective from August 15, 2022) stipulating local database on housing:

1. The system of legislative documents on housing and land shall be issued under competence of local authorities.

2. Data, results and reports of local programs of investigation and statistics of housing (quantity and area of houses and population of urban and rural areas).

3. Information and data of the Program and Plan of housing development in a particular area for each following case of housing development:

a) Commercial housing;

b) Social housing;

c) Official residences;

d) Houses and land for resettlement;

dd) Houses provided under housing support policies and programs of the state.

4. Information and data on the fluctuation related to the management and use of housing and land in a particular area include:

a) Quantity and area of houses built in urban and rural areas;

b) Quantity of houses and land for which certificates of land use rights and ownership of houses and other assets on land are granted.

2. What are regulations on statistics on housing in Vietnam? 

Article 9 of Decree 44/2022/ND-CP (effective from August 15, 2022) stipulates statistics on housing, specifically as follows:

1. Results of executing the Program and Plan of housing development are prescribed in clause 3 Article 8 hereof.

2. Quantity and area of houses built in urban and rural areas are prescribed in point a clause 4 Article 8 hereof.

3. Quantity of houses and land for which certificates of land use rights and ownership of houses and other assets on land are granted is prescribed in point b clause 4 Article 8 hereof.
