Pursuant to Article 49 of Circular 01/2021/TT-BTNMT, there are regulations on appraisal, approval and public announcement of master plans and plans on land use as follows:

1. Appraisal, approval and public announcement of land use plans in the first and last periods and adjustment of the national land use plan

a) Organize the appraisal of the first and final land use plans and adjust the national land use plans before submitting them to the Government;

b) Edit and complete dossiers and documents of land use plan in the first and last period and adjust the national land use plan for submission to the National Assembly for decision;

c) Publicize the land use plan in the first and last periods and adjust the national land use plan;

d) Evaluation and acceptance;

d) Handing over products.

2. Appraisal, approval and public announcement of land use plans and adjustment of provincial land use plans

a) Organize the appraisal of the land use plan and adjust the provincial land use plan;

b) Edit and complete dossiers and documents of land use plans and adjust provincial land use plans for submission to the Prime Minister for approval;

c) Publicize the land use plan and adjust the provincial land use plan;

d) Evaluation and acceptance;

d) Handing over products.

3. Appraise, approve and publicly announce the land use planning and the first year land use plan of the district-level land use planning; adjustment of land use planning and land use plan in the first year of the adjustment of district-level land use planning

What is archiving of land use master plans and plans in Vietnam?

According to Article 50 of Circular 01/2021/TT-BTNMT, there are regulations on archiving of land use master plans and plans as follows:

1. National land use plan, adjustment of national land use plan (if any) shall be archived in 04 sets (01 set at the Office of the National Assembly, 01 set at the Government Office, 02 sets at the Ministry of Finance) Resources and Environment); archival documents include: approval documents, general explanatory report, current land use map, land use plan (adjusted) map and thematic maps.

2. Provincial-level land use plans and adjustments to provincial-level land use plans (if any) are archived in 05 sets (01 set at the Government Office, 02 sets at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, 01 set at Provincial People's Committee, 01 ministry at Department of Natural Resources and Environment); archival documents include: approval documents, general explanatory report, current land use map, land use plan (adjusted) map and thematic maps.

3. District-level land use plannings and plans

a) Land use planning and land use plan for the first year of the district land use planning; Adjustment of land use planning and land use plan for the first year of adjustment of district-level land use planning shall be archived in 04 sets (01 set at the provincial People's Committee, 01 set at the Department of Natural Resources and Environment). , 01 set at the district-level People's Committee, 01 set at the Department of Natural Resources and Environment); archival documents include: approval document, summary report, current land use map, district-level (adjusted) land use planning map and thematic maps.

b) The district-level annual land use plan shall be archived in 5 sets (01 set at the provincial People's Committee, 01 set at the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, 01 set at the district People's Committee, 01 set at the district level). Division of Natural Resources and Environment, 01 ministry at the Commune People's Committee); archival documents include: approval documents, general explanatory reports, district-level annual land use plan maps and thematic maps.
