Regarding the transitional application of the Land Price Table[14]
The Land Price Table issued by the Provincial People's Committee in accordance with the Land Law 2013 shall continue to be applied until December 31, 2025; in case of necessity, the Provincial People's Committee shall decide to adjust the land price table in accordance with this Law to fit the actual land price situation in the locality. The procedure for adjusting the Land Price Table in this case (if any) shall be carried out according to the provisions of Article 17 of Decree No. 71/2024/ND-CP dated June 27, 2024 of the Government of Vietnam regulating land prices.

Thus, the Land Price Table issued by the Provincial People's Committee in accordance with the provisions of the Land Law 2013 shall continue to be applied until December 31, 2025.
In case of necessity, the Provincial People's Committee shall decide to adjust the land price table in accordance with the actual land price situation in the locality.

For which cases is the Land Price Table applied?
Pursuant to Article 159 of the Land Law 2024, the Land Price Table is applied for the following cases:
- Calculating land levy when the State recognizes the use rights of homestead land for households, individuals; changing the land use purpose of households, individuals
- Calculating land rent when the State leases land with annual land rent collection
- Calculating land use tax
- Calculating income tax from the transfer of land use rights for households, individuals
- Calculating fees in land management and use
- Calculating fines for administrative violations in the field of land
- Calculating compensation for the State when causing damage in land management and use
- Calculating land levy, land rent when the State recognizes the use rights in the form of land allocation with a fixed land levy, land lease with a one-time rent for the entire lease period for households, individuals
- Calculating the starting price for auctioning land use rights when the State allocates land, leases land in cases where land parcels or land zones have been invested with technical infrastructure according to detailed construction planning
- Calculating land levy in cases of land allocation without auction of land use rights for households, individuals
- Calculating land levy in cases of selling state-owned houses to current tenants

The Provincial People's Committee decides to establish the Land Price Appraisal Council, including the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee or one Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee as the Chairman of the Council, the head of the provincial financial agency as the Vice Chairman of the Council, members of the Provincial People's Committee who are heads of provincial specialized agencies; the chairmen of district-level People's Committees; representatives of relevant agencies, organizations, consulting organizations determining land prices, and experts.
The Provincial People's Committee decides to establish a specific provincial land price appraisal council including the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee or one Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee as the Chairman of the Council; the head of the provincial financial agency as the Vice Chairman of the Council; the chairmen of district-level, commune-level People's Committees where the land is located, and representatives of relevant agencies, organizations. The Provincial People's Committee may invite representatives of consulting organizations determining land prices or experts on land prices to participate as members of the Council.
