Can Foreigners Married to Vietnamese Citizens Own Property Long-term in Vietnam?

Let me inquire: If a foreign national is married to a Vietnamese citizen, can this foreign national, when purchasing an apartment in Vietnam under their name for residence, own this apartment for 50 years or indefinitely?

According to Point c, Clause 3, Article 161 of the Housing Law 2014: In the case where a foreign individual marries a Vietnamese citizen or marries a Vietnamese person residing abroad, they are entitled to own stable and long-term housing and have the rights of a housing owner, similar to a Vietnamese citizen.

Thus, if a foreigner marries a Vietnamese person, they are entitled to long-term stable housing ownership in Vietnam.
