Year of Birth on the Social Insurance Book Does Not Match the Identity Card: Does it Affect Pension Payments?
Section 2, Article 46 of Decision 595/QD-BHXH of 2017 provides for the re-issuance of social insurance books in the following cases:
- Re-issuance of social insurance books (cover and inserts) in the cases: lost, damaged; merged; change of book number; surname, first name, middle name; date of birth; individuals who have already received a one-time social insurance payout but still have unpaid unemployment insurance contributions.
- Re-issuance of social insurance book covers in the cases: incorrect gender, nationality.
- Re-issuance of social insurance book inserts in the cases: lost, damaged.
In this case, you need to prepare a dossier for the re-issuance of your social insurance book due to the change of birth year on your identification card. This will facilitate the process of receiving your pension and simplify the procedure.
Sincerely!
