The commencement date for receiving support application from the Unemployment Insurance Fund?
According to Resolution 116/ND-CP of 2021 stipulating cash support for workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic from the surplus of the Unemployment Insurance Fund, the applicable subjects include:
- Workers participating in unemployment insurance as of September 30, 2021 (excluding workers working in state agencies, political organizations, socio-political organizations, people's armed units, and public service providers whose regular expenses are covered by the state budget).
- Workers who have stopped participating in unemployment insurance due to termination of labor contracts or working contracts from January 1, 2020 to the end of September 30, 2021, and have unemployment insurance payment periods preserved in accordance with the employment law, excluding those receiving monthly pensions.
Thus, based on the above regulation, employees temporarily stopping due to the termination of labor contracts within the period of January 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021, and having preserved unemployment insurance payment periods are entitled to support.
According to the information you provided, you stopped working from August 6, 2021, and have 7 months of preserved unemployment insurance payment. Therefore, you are eligible for this policy.
Note: The timeframe for submitting dossiers is from October 1, 2021, and no later than December 20, 2021 (Article 3 of Decision 28/2021/QD-TTg).
