Requesting Maternity Leave 2 Months Before Birth: Is It Possible?
Clause 1, Article 34 of the 2014 Social Insurance Law stipulates the time for enjoying maternity policies as follows:
Female employees giving birth are entitled to maternity leave before and after childbirth for 06 months. In case a female employee gives birth to twins or more, from the second child onwards, for each additional child, the mother is entitled to an additional 01 month of leave.
The maximum period of maternity leave before childbirth is not more than 02 months.
=> According to the above regulations, you can request maternity leave from the company 02 months before giving birth.
