Postpartum Recovery Leave for 5 Days: What is the Compensation?
Based on Clause 3, Article 41 of the 2014 Social Insurance Law:
The daily rate of convalescence and recovery benefits post-maternity is 30% of the statutory pay rate.
Thus, according to this regulation, the convalescence and recovery benefits post-maternity for 5 days can be calculated as 150% of the statutory pay rate.
Currently, the statutory pay rate is VND 1,490,000 (Decree 38/2019/ND-CP). Therefore, the benefit amount you are entitled to is VND 2,235,000.
