International Transaction Name of Vietnam Social Security

According to Article 1 of Decree 89/2020/ND-CP (effective September 20, 2020) stipulating the position and function of Vietnam Social Security, it is stated that:

- Vietnam Social Security is an agency under the Government of Vietnam with the function of organizing the implementation of policies, social insurance, health insurance; organizing the collection and expenditure of unemployment insurance benefits; managing and using the funds: social insurance, unemployment insurance, health insurance; conducting specialized inspections on the payment of social insurance, unemployment insurance, health insurance according to the provisions of the law.

- Vietnam Social Security has the international transaction name in English as Viet Nam Social Security, abbreviated as VSS.

- Vietnam Social Security is under the state management of the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs regarding social insurance, unemployment insurance; the Ministry of Health regarding health insurance; the Ministry of Finance regarding financial policies for social insurance, unemployment insurance, health insurance funds.

Thus, the international transaction name in English of Vietnam Social Security is Viet Nam Social Security, abbreviated as VSS according to the latest regulations.
