Four Cases of Early Retirement Effective from 2021

Based on the provisions of Clause 1, Article 5 of Decree 135/2020/ND-CP (effective from January 01, 2021), there are 04 cases where employees can retire at an age lower by up to 05 years compared to the normal retirement age in standard working conditions, specifically including:

- Employees with at least 15 years of service doing heavy, hazardous, dangerous, or particularly heavy, hazardous, dangerous jobs as listed by the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs.

- Employees with at least 15 years of service working in areas with extremely difficult socio-economic conditions, including the period of working in areas with a regional allowance coefficient of 0.7 or higher before January 01, 2021.

The Minister of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs shall issue the list of areas with extremely difficult socio-economic conditions.

- Employees whose working capacity is reduced by 61% or more.

- Employees with a total time doing jobs specified at point a and working in the areas specified at point b of this clause for at least 15 years.
