Changing the Date of Birth on the ID Card: Is it Necessary to Adjust the Social Insurance Book?
Section 2, Article 46 of Decision 595/QD-BHXH of 2017 stipulates the reissuance of social insurance books in the following cases:
- Reissuance of social insurance books (cover and individual pages) in cases of: loss, damage; merging; change in book number; surname, given name, middle name; day, month, year of birth; persons who have received one-time social insurance but still have periods of unemployment insurance contributions not yet received.
- Reissuance of social insurance book covers in cases of: gender or nationality errors.
- Reissuance of individual pages of social insurance books in cases of: loss, damage.
In this case, if you want to adjust the social insurance book from the year 2000 to 2002 according to the year of birth on the original record, which is the ID card, you should make a dossier to reissue the social insurance book due to the change in the year of birth on the ID card.
Respectfully!
