Can the Company Pay Social Insurance for Employees Every 6 Months?
Clause 13, Article 1, Decision 505/QD-BHXH of 2020 stipulates that the compulsory social insurance payment every 03 months or 06 months applies to:
Organizations such as enterprises, cooperatives, individual business households, cooperative groups operating in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fishery, and salt production that pay wages based on products or assigned tasks shall register the payment method of 03 or 06 months with the social insurance agency; the social insurance agency will cooperate with the labor agency to inspect at the unit before deciding on the payment method for the unit. No later than the last day of the chosen payment method, the unit must transfer the full amount into the social insurance fund.
And according to Article 31, Decision 595/QD-BHXH of 2017, the provisions are as follows:

1.2. Payment of Social Insurance, Health Insurance, Unemployment Insurance, Occupational Accident and Disease Insurance
a) Monthly, or every 03 months, 06 months according to the unit's payment method, the unit shall deduct from the employee's wages according to the prescribed rate to transfer to the special collection account of the social insurance agency.
Thus, your company, operating in the field of agriculture, may opt for the 06-month social insurance payment for employees. Note that the company must register the payment method with the social insurance agency.
