What is the EJU Exam? Which schools in Japan accept the results of EJU Exam?
EJU stands for Examination for Japanese University Admission. The EJU Exam is conducted to assess the necessary Japanese language proficiency and basic academic knowledge of international students aspiring to study at universities in Japan.
The subjects in the EJU Exam include Japanese language, natural sciences, social sciences, and mathematics. In the EJU Exam, candidates cannot simultaneously choose to take both natural sciences and social sciences.
The subjects in the EJU Exam are as follows:

What are regulations on the current study abroad consulting training program in Vietnam?
Based on the content of subsection 1 and subsection 2, Section IV of the Study Abroad Consulting Training Program issued together with Circular 01/2022/TT-BGDDT:
- The study abroad consulting training program includes 10 credits, with a total of 230 classroom periods, of which 70 periods are theoretical lectures and 160 periods are discussions and practical sessions (1 credit equivalent to 15 theoretical periods, 1 theoretical period equivalent to 2 discussion or practical periods, each period lasting 50 minutes).
- The program structure comprises 8 modules:
+ Overview of policies and laws on education and vocational education;
+ Educational and vocational education systems in Vietnam and some other countries/territories in the world;
+ Study abroad consulting practices;
+ Development of international education, organizing international education events for study abroad consulting activities;
+ Study abroad markets;
+ Practicing study abroad consulting skills.
- At the conclusion of Modules 1 and 2 of the study abroad consulting training program, students will take a mid-term test lasting a minimum of 60 minutes in written, essay form. At the end of the course, there will be an essay exam lasting a minimum of 90 minutes or a multiple-choice exam lasting a minimum of 60 minutes. Mid-term test scores and final exam scores are graded on a 10-point scale; scores below 5 are considered failed.
- Students must participate in at least 80% of the total stipulated duration for each module to be eligible for the mid-term test and final exam. Students scoring 5 or more in the mid-term test can sit for the final exam. Students are allowed to retake the mid-term test and the final exam twice if they do not meet the required score.
- Students' performance is assessed through mid-term tests and final exams. Final exam scores are the basis for study abroad consulting training centers to consider and issue training certificates.
- Students scoring 5 or above in the final exam will be awarded a study abroad consulting training certificate. The training centers issue certificates in accordance with regulations.
- The format of the study abroad consulting training certificate follows the format of the national education system certificate as stipulated by the Minister of Education and Training. The issuance, printing, and management of the study abroad consulting training certificate follow the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
What are the objectives of the study abroad consulting training program in Vietnam?
According to guidelines in Section III of the Program issued along with Circular 01/2022/TT-BGDDT on the objectives of the study abroad consulting training program:
(1) General Objectives
Equip students with basic knowledge of the legal system regarding education and vocational education; necessary professional skills and knowledge for study abroad consulting activities; the ability to apply acquired knowledge and skills in study abroad consulting activities.
(2) Specific Objectives
After training, students:
- Master the viewpoints, directions, and policies of the Communist Party and the laws of the State in the field of education and vocational education; legal documents on education and vocational education; current regulations related to study abroad consulting activities, education cooperation, degree recognition; regulations on immigration.
- Master and apply basic knowledge of the educational and vocational education systems in Vietnam and some countries/territories in the world; study abroad consulting practices; basic knowledge of the culture and customs of the destination country/territory and necessary professional skills to organize study abroad consulting activities.
- Comply with current legal regulations, hold responsibility, and maintain professional ethics during the organization and execution of study abroad consulting activities.
