According to Article 2a of Circular 03/2021/TT-BGDDT (supplemented by Clause 1 of Article 3 Circular 08/2023/TT-BGDDT), Literature teachers for Grade 8 must meet the following ethical standards in professional conduct:
- Comply with the guidelines, policies of the Communist Party, laws of the State, regulations of the sector and locality concerning secondary education.
- Regularly cultivate ethics, uphold the spirit of responsibility, maintain the dignity, honor, and prestige of teachers; set an example for students.
- Love, treat students fairly and respectfully; protect the legitimate rights and interests of students; be united and helpful towards colleagues.
- Strictly abide by the regulations on the general responsibilities and obligations of public employees and regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training regarding teacher ethics.
What are duties of rank 3 lower secondary school teachers in Vietnam?
According to Clause 1 of Article 3 Circular 03/2021/TT-BGDDT, rank 3 lower secondary school teachers have the following duties:
- Develop educational plans for the assigned subject and participate in developing educational plans of the specialized group according to the objectives, and curriculum of secondary education level;

- Participate in activities of the specialized group; participate in scientific research; complete educational activity management records as regulated; implement secondary education popularization and inclusive education within the assigned scope; participate in organizing competitions (for teachers or students) from the school level upwards (if any);
- Complete training courses, and enhancement programs as regulated; self-study and self-improve professional competence;
- Perform other duties assigned by the principal.
