Know how to write a document ensuring the steps: preparation before writing (identifying topic, purpose, reader, format, gathering information, resources); finding ideas and outlining; writing; reviewing and editing, drawing lessons.

Writing practice

- Be able to write a narrative essay about a trip or a social activity that left profound thoughts and feelings, using descriptive or emotional elements, or both in the essay.

- Begin to compose a free verse poem (six, seven syllables). Write a paragraph expressing thoughts on a free verse poem.

- Be able to write an argumentative essay on a life issue, clearly presenting the issue and the writer's opinion (agreeing or disagreeing) about the issue; providing convincing arguments and evidence.

- Be able to write an analysis essay on a literary work: state the theme; cite and analyze a few artistic features used in the work.

- Be able to write an expositive text on a natural phenomenon or introducing a book; provide important information; present clearly and persuasively.

- Be able to write a petition about a life issue.
