Read the following text, answer the questions, and write your answers on the test paper:
The ship slowly cut through the waves... moved forward... We drifted in the vast sea... To the west, the majestic Ta Lon mountain range lay long in the mist. Phu Quoc Island. A large green stripe stretched across the front, faintly clouded, as if glued to the sky... Phu Quoc Island! The scenery in dreams all this time has now appeared before our eyes... We felt a strong joy in our hearts.
After meals and rest, in the afternoon, we gathered to go swimming. The white sand stretched for several thousand meters. Offshore, a few fishing boats with white sails were distinct against the pink clouds. Beside the bluish mountain range, a flock of wandering swans leisurely sculpted a magnificent gigantic picture.
...We strolled through the streets to see the night scene at the bay. The eleventh moon. The night was dimmed, cold dew, here truly had an incredibly serene atmosphere. On the sea surface, scattered small boats went squid fishing, the lights reflecting on the water, sparkling in the distance like mirrors. People here work almost incessantly, with heavy tasks performed during the day, and lighter tasks done at night. Under a dim light, people mended nets, sharpened bamboo, while chatting, giving off a sense of happiness, leisure, and contentment in their work.

PART II. WRITING (4.0 points)
Write an essay recounting a memorable experience from a trip.
Answer:
Last summer, I had a trip with my family to Ha Long Bay, one of the natural wonders of the world. This trip not only brought me unforgettable memories but also helped me understand more about the incredible beauty of nature and the bonds between family members.
From the moment I stepped off the boat, I was overwhelmed by the majestic beauty of Ha Long Bay. The scenery here was marvelous, with thousands of limestone isles large and small emerging from the emerald waters. The magnificent rocks, lurking in the mist, seemed like the mysterious forms of a mythical world. I stood on the deck, feeling the cool breeze and gazing around, my heart filled with excitement.
The tour lasted the whole day as we moved to large islands and visited famous caves like Thien Cung and Dau Go caves. The stalactites in the caves sparkled with light, forming odd shapes that gave me a feeling of being lost in a mysterious world. The more I explored, the more I appreciated the wonders of nature and cherished the gifts bestowed upon us by the Creator.
However, what made this trip special was not only the beautiful scenery but also the moments spent together with my family. On the tour, I sat with my parents, talking and sharing funny stories about life. Although a busy life sometimes makes it hard for us to find time to talk, during this trip, we had precious hours together, strengthening family bonds.
Another memorable experience was when we went kayaking in the bay. My first try at this sport made me both excited and nervous. However, as my dad and I paddled together, blending into nature and gliding on the crystal-clear water, it was an unforgettable experience. The times the bay whispered under the golden sunshine made me feel as if I were immersed in a vibrant natural painting.
Throughout the trip, the moments of playing, chatting, and sharing joy with my family made me feel extremely happy. The trip to Ha Long Bay not only gave me wonderful experiences with nature but also made me love and appreciate the precious moments with my family.
Upon returning, I carried with me photos and stories from this trip as a beautiful memory in my life. This trip taught me not only about the beauty of nature but also reminded me of family love and the importance of time spent together. Surely, whenever I recall Ha Long Bay, I will remember the wonderful moments that my family shared.
