Heavy, hazardous, and dangerous occupation involves factors harmful to health and spirit or poses high risks to employees. Heavy, hazardous, and dangerous jobs are specified in the list of heavy, hazardous, and dangerous professions and occupations under Circular 11/2020/TT-BLDTBXH.
Therefore, teaching is not considered a hazardous and dangerous occupation, as it is not included in the list of heavy, hazardous, and dangerous professions under Circular 11/2020/TT-BLDTBXH.

Pursuant to Article 70 Law on Education 2019, teachers have the following general rights:

- The State has policies for recruitment, utilization, remuneration, and ensures necessary material and spiritual conditions for teachers to fulfill their roles and duties.
- Teachers working at specialized schools, gifted schools, boarding ethnic minority schools, semi-boarding ethnic minority schools, preparatory universities, schools, classes for the disabled, reformatory schools, or other specialized schools, and teachers implementing inclusive education are entitled to allowances and preferential policies.
- The State encourages and provides preferential policies for allowances and other policies for teachers working in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions.
