1. Competitionants eligible for the 54th UPU International Letter-Writing Competition in 2025: Vietnamese students aged 9 to 15 (as of the date of submission to the competition). 2. Rules for the letter sent for the competition: - The letter must be an original creative piece by the student, written in prose according to the competition theme (not previously published or printed), not exceeding 800 words. - If written in a foreign language, a Vietnamese translation must accompany the letter. The judging panel will evaluate the Vietnamese version. - The letter sent for the competition should be clearly presented, and neatly written by hand on one side of the paper (note not to write on the back, multiple sheets may be used, and pages should be numbered and stapled to avoid confusion). Letters that are typed or photocopied are not valid. - The top left corner of the letter sent for the competition must include full details: + Full name; + Date of birth; + Ethnicity; + School address, class, district (town), province (city); + Phone number. Note: Letters missing any of the above information are considered invalid. Guidelines for submitting a letter sent for the 54th UPU International Letter-Writing Competition in 2025: - Each letter sent for the competition must be placed in an envelope with a postal stamp, clearly stating the sender's address, recipient's address with postal code (11611) and sent via the Vietnam Post postal system. - The envelope should clearly state: the letter sent for the 54th UPU International Letter-Writing Competition (2025). - Submission address: "Báo Thiếu niên Tiền phong và Nhi đồng" Number 5, Hoa Ma Street, Pham Dinh Ho Ward, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi City - 11611 3. Submission time: Additionally, the Competition regulations also specify several requirements as follows: - Participation of 100% of students from the school is not mandatory. - All entries without a postal stamp or not sent via Vietnam Post are invalid. - Copyright for entries belongs to the Organizing Committee. - The postal code for "Báo Thiếu niên Tiền phong và Nhi đồng" is 11611. - The letter sent for the competition must not be published in newspapers, television, or social media before the Organizing Committee announces the results. |
