How to write the results of remedying limitations and shortcomings in the self-assessment for members of Communist Party of Vietnam at the end of 2024?
In templates 02A (Self-criticism report for individuals not holding leadership, management positions) and 02B (Self-criticism report for individuals holding leadership, management positions) issued with Guideline 25-HD/BTCTW 2023, to write the section on results of remedying limitations, shortcomings that have been concluded by the competent authority or pointed out in previous self-criticism sessions in the member of Communist Party of Vietnam year-end self-criticism report, one can refer to the following:
- First, the implementer needs to clearly identify each limitation, shortcoming (remedied; being remedied, the level of remedy; not remedied); any difficulties, obstacles (if any); responsibility of the collective, related individuals.
Then self-assess the level of implementation:
- Below is a suggestion on how to write the results of remedying limitations and shortcomings of members of Communist Party of Vietnam:
+ Actively participate in training and develop personal capacity according to Directive 05-CT/TW 2015 on promoting study and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, style and regulations on setting an example. From there, work more effectively in one's role, and can appropriately apply professional knowledge and skills to daily work;

May members of Communist Party of Vietnam pay membership fees more than the stipulated level?
Based on Subsection 6 Section 1 Part B Regulations on membership fee policies issued with Decision 342-QD/TW 2010, the regulation about the subject and monthly membership fee amount for members is as follows:
Subjects and monthly membership fee amount for party members
Monthly income of a party member for calculating membership fees includes: salary, some allowances; wages; living expenses; other income. Party members who determine their regular income pay membership fees as a percentage (%) of their monthly income (not yet deducting personal income tax); party members whose income is difficult to determine have a specific monthly fee level set for each subject.
1- members of Communist Party of Vietnam in administrative agencies, political organizations, socio-political organizations, armed forces units: pay monthly membership fees of 1% of salary, allowances; wages; living expenses.
2- members of Communist Party of Vietnam receiving social insurance salaries: pay monthly membership fees of 0.5% of the social insurance salary.
3- members of Communist Party of Vietnam working in enterprises, public service providers, economic organizations: pay monthly membership fees of 1% of salary, wages, and other income from the unit's wage fund.
4- Other domestic members of Communist Party of Vietnam (including agricultural members, rural members, student members…): pay membership fees from 2,000 VND to 30,000 VND/month. For out-of-working-age members, the fee is 50% of the in-working-age members.
5- members of Communist Party of Vietnam living, studying, working abroad
5.1- members of Communist Party of Vietnam working at Vietnam's representative offices abroad; members as students funded abroad according to agreements or funded from the state budget pay membership fees of 1% of their monthly living expenses.
5.2- members of Communist Party of Vietnam studying abroad on self-funding; members working abroad; members going with family, members as free entrepreneurs, pay monthly fees from 2 to 5 USD.
5.3- members of Communist Party of Vietnam as owners or co-owners of businesses, trade zones, service shops, pay a minimum monthly fee of 10 USD.
6- Members in all the above categories are encouraged to voluntarily pay higher membership fees than the stipulated level but must have the approval of the branch committee.
members of Communist Party of Vietnam in especially difficult circumstances, if they apply for exemption or reduction of membership fees, the branch committee considers and reports to the grassroots party committee for decision.
Thus, according to the regulations, there is a strong encouragement for members of all categories to voluntarily pay higher membership fees than the stipulated level; however, paying more than the stipulated amount must be approved by the branch committee.
What is the basis for determining membership fees for members of Communist Party of Vietnam?
Based on Section 1 Part B Regulations on membership fee policies issued with Decision 342/QD-TW 2010, it is stipulated that members pay membership fees based on the following incomes:
- Salary
- Certain allowances
- Wages
- Living expenses
- Other income
