+ Strive to enhance strengths, overcome weaknesses in giving and receiving criticism, and actively participate in expressing opinions during party cell activities.
+ In performing duties, be flexible and proactive yet cautious, showing determination and firmness in combating wrongdoings like embezzlement, corruption, contributing to a strong Communist Party and government;
+ Consciously learn and actively research to update knowledge, including new contents and legal documents, continuously improving competencies and skills, providing a basis for propagating legal knowledge and Communist Party and State policies to all citizens;
+ Be self-aware in cultivating impartiality, objectivity, honesty, boldness, and being straightforward and sincere;
- Regularly and actively cultivate and practice lifestyle ethics to raise political and professional theoretical levels.
For the directions and remedies to be effective, party members must implement them seriously, with determination, and make continuous efforts. Party members need a specific, detailed plan with a timeline and should regularly self-check and monitor the implementation process, promptly adjusting and supplementing any unsuitable contents.

What is the membership fee for members of Communist Party of Vietnam who work abroad?
Based on Section 1, Part B, Regulations on membership fee Policies issued with Decision 342/QD-TW 2010, stipulating the membership fee for members of Communist Party of Vietnam who work abroad. Specifically:
- members of Communist Party of Vietnam living, studying, working abroad:
+ members of Communist Party of Vietnam working at Vietnamese representative offices abroad; students on scholarships funded by foreign agreements or sponsored by the state budget contribute membership fees at 1% of their monthly living expenses.
+ Self-financed students; labor export party members; party members accompanying family, and independent business members contribute monthly fees between 2 to 5 USD.
+ members of Communist Party of Vietnam who are owners or co-owners of enterprises, commercial zones, service shops contribute a minimum monthly fee of 10 USD.
What are the self-assessment regulations in Vietnam?
According to Article 7 Regulation 124-QD/TW 2023, the self-assessment process is regulated as follows:
(1) Preparation for Self-Assessment
- The direct head directs the preparation of collective self-assessment reports and gathers opinions and feedback from relevant collectives and individuals.
- Individuals prepare self-assessment reports as per the specified content.
- Higher authorities suggest self-assessment for collectives, individuals according to management hierarchy when necessary.
(2) Place of Self-Assessment
- Party committees, party organizations, collective leadership, and management at any level conduct self-criticism and criticism at that level.
- members of Communist Party of Vietnam assess themselves at their activity party cell.
- Leadership and management officials generally perform assessments in two places (at their activity party cell and at the collective leadership, management workplace); evaluation and categorization of party members at the party cell, evaluation, and categorization of officials and public employees where they hold the highest position. Officials holding multiple leadership and management positions must perform additional assessments elsewhere as prescribed.
(3) Self-Assessment Procedure
- For collective, individual leadership, and management assessments: Assess collective first, individuals afterward; head first, deputies and other members afterward; leadership, management of government, specialties, social organizations first, party committees, party organizations afterward.
- For party members in leadership and management positions: Evaluate at the party cell first, at collective leadership, management later.
