03 forms of organization of the National Assembly session in Vietnam

Below is the content of the Resolution 31/2023/UBTVQH stipulating and guiding a number of clauses of the Regulations of the National Assembly session approved by the National Assembly Standing Committee on March 14, 2023.

According to Vietnam's Resolution 31/2023/UBTVQH15, the National Assembly of Vietnam session may be held in the following forms:

(1) A face-to-face meeting is conducted with the direct participation of all National Assembly deputies at one location.

(2) Online meeting is conducted via video conferencing between the main bridge point in Hanoi and bridge points in other provinces and centrally run cities. The National Assembly Standing Committee shall decide the number of bridge points, the provinces and centrally run cities that have bridge points, the location of the bridge point. The National Assembly delegation shall attend the meeting at each bridge point.

Based on the actual situation, the Secretary-General of the National Assembly - the Chairman of the Office of the National Assembly advise the National Assembly Standing Committee to decide to organize the online meeting in another way.

(3) The combination of face-to-face meetings and online meetings is implemented if the meeting has sessions held in the form of face-to-face meetings and meetings held in the form of online meetings.

Vietnam's Resolution 31/2023/UBTVQH15 takes effect from March 15, 2023.
