Insignia and Name Plates of the Ship Protection Force

Noteworthy are the regulations related to the epaulettes and insignia of the train security force.

Epaulettes of the Security Force on the Train

According to the regulations, epaulettes are provided to individuals directly involved in security work on the train and are worn on both shoulders to distinguish the positions of officers and staff in the train security force.

The positions of officers and security staff on the train include:

- Security Staff,- Security Team Leader,- Deputy Security Team Leader,- Security Team Leader.

The epaulettes are made of fabric, dark blue in color, with dimensions 120 mm in length, 50 mm width on the outer side, 40 mm width on the inner side, with an 18 mm sharp angle, bordered with yellow felt, and the specific dimensions and colors are as follows:

- Epaulettes of the Security Team Leader: two horizontal stripes 10 mm wide made of yellow felt, with a distance of 07 mm between the stripes, and two five-pointed yellow stars with a circumscribed circle diameter of 15 mm;- Epaulettes of the Deputy Security Team Leader: two horizontal stripes 10 mm wide made of yellow felt, with a distance of 07 mm between the stripes, and one five-pointed yellow star with a circumscribed circle diameter of 15 mm;- Epaulettes of the Security Team Leader: one horizontal stripe 10 mm wide made of yellow felt, with one five-pointed yellow star with a circumscribed circle diameter of 15 mm;- Epaulettes of the Security Staff: two V-shaped stripes 10 mm wide made of yellow felt; the distance between the stripes is 07 mm.- The model of epaulettes for the train security force is stipulated by law.

Insignia of the Security Force on the Train

Decree 75 stipulates:

- The insignia of the train security force is made of mica or hard plastic, with dimensions of 50 mm x 84 mm, worn on the left chest of the uniform;- The upper part of the insignia: dark blue background, 11 mm wide, with a 05 mm high row of red letters stating the name of the railway transport enterprise managing the officers and security staff on the train, printed upright with full diacritics (if the length is insufficient, abbreviations are allowed);- The lower part of the insignia: white background, the left side contains a bust photo; the right side contains the full name in dark sky blue letters, printed upright with full diacritics, 07 mm high. Below the name is the position, printed upright with full diacritics, 05 mm high. Below the position is the code and serial number of the officer or security staff.

Decree 75/2018/ND-CP takes effect from July 1, 2018.
