Vietnam: Processing information about violations against Regulations of enrollment

This is one of the basic contents specified in Circular No. 05/2017/TT-BLĐTBXH of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam on regulations of enrollment and determination of enrollment targets at intermediate and college level issued on March 02, 2017. To be specific:

1. Contact points of information or evidence of violations against Regulations of enrollment:

- Admission Council;

- Inspectorate of vocational education.

2. Evidence of violations against Regulations of enrollment of which the authenticity has been verified shall be the basis for dealing with the violating entity.

3. Provide information and evidence of violations against Regulations of enrollment:

- If any person, including candidates and people participating in enrollment activities, detects any of the violations against Regulations of enrollment, he/she shall provide information for the contact point prescribed in Clause 1 Article 14 hereof for timely handling as prescribed in law on denunciation;

- The person providing information and evidence of violations against Regulations of enrollment shall take legal responsibility for their authenticity and may not misuse them to prejudice the enrollment activities.

4. The contact point of information or evidence about violations against Regulations of enrollment shall:

- Receive information or evidence as prescribed; keep the evidence unchanged; and verify their authenticity;

- Initiate measures for preventing misconducts, violations against Regulations of enrollment as provided;

- Take actions within its competence or send reports to competent authorities for handling and make public the handling results;

- Protect information and identification of the person providing information.

This is the content specified in Article 14 of Circular No. 05/2017/TT-BLĐTBXH of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam, effective from April 15, 2017.
