Tasks Required in Coastal Engineering Geological Mapping

According to Circular 62, the regulations on required tasks when creating geological maps for coastal areas include:

- Preparing the research area.

- Collecting data on natural, economic, and social conditions; relevant data on university, remote sensing, geological engineering, geotechnical engineering, and hydrogeology within the research area, including:

- Data from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.- Data collected by provinces.- Data from other ministries and sectors (construction, transportation, agriculture and rural development, science and technology).

- Analyzing, processing, and aggregating collected data to serve the construction work. Specifically:

- Remote sensing images and map drawings on mineral geology, geological engineering, and geomorphology.- Map drawings on hydrogeology, geotechnical engineering.- Geotechnical surveys of projects: construction, transportation, irrigation, sea dikes, bridges, ports.- Research data on science and technology topics.- Data on territorial and maritime spatial planning.

- Developing an outline accompanied by a construction design diagram, submitting the outline for appraisal.

- Inspecting, calibrating, and verifying survey equipment.

- Preparing materials, tools, equipment, and working documents for survey teams.

- Organizing labor safety dissemination for all technical staff and workers participating in field surveys.

- Determining the basis for cost estimation and preparing detailed budgets, submitting for approval.

- Fully preparing administrative procedures and field survey plans according to the approved outline.
