Circular 17/2014/TT-BGTVT stipulates that the Chief of the Vehicle Load Weight Checking Station on roadways must meet the following standards:
- Professional qualifications:
- Graduated from college or higher in one of the following majors: Transportation, construction, architecture, mechanical engineering, information technology, telecommunications, electrical engineering, electronics, automation, or law;- Computer proficiency: Level A or higher;- Foreign language proficiency: Level A or higher in one of the five languages: English, French, Russian, German, Chinese, or in Lao, Cambodian (for Stations located in border provinces adjacent to the Lao People's Democratic Republic and the Kingdom of Cambodia);- Knowledgeable about standards, technical regulations, rules, procedures, related to vehicle load weight checks, violation handling, station operation and maintenance procedures; proficient use of equipment at the Station as per standards set by state agencies.
- Work experience: At least 2 years of experience in the Transportation sector.
