Regulations on the Application Form for Issuance of Diplomatic Passports and Official Passports

Circular 03/2016/TT-BNG stipulates the application form for the issuance of diplomatic passports, official passports, and visa application notes as follows:

- The application form for the issuance of diplomatic passports, official passports, and visa application notes according to Form 01/2016/XNC can be filled out on a pre-printed form or online at the Consular Affairs Information Portal at the address www.lanhsuvietnam.gov.vn.- The application form must be fully completed, signed directly by the applicant, and certified by the agency or organization where the applicant is currently working, with a stamp overlapping the photo.- For spouses accompanying official business trips; spouses and children under 18 years old visiting or accompanying members of Vietnamese State news agencies, reporters, journalists residing abroad not under the payroll of any agency or organization, the application form must be certified by the agency or organization directly managing the personnel of the person being sent on an overseas trip whom they are visiting or accompanying.- For applicants requesting the issuance of diplomatic or official passports who have an existing valid diplomatic or official passport and there is no change in title, position, or the agency or organization where they work compared to the time of the previous passport issuance, as well as no change in the issuing agency, the application form does not require certification from the agency or organization where they work.
