New Price Framework for Vaccination, Disinfection, and Sterilization Services for Animals

The price framework for vaccination services, disinfection, animal sanitation, veterinary diagnostics, and drug testing services for animals is stipulated in the Appendix issued with Circular 283/2016/TT-BTC.

The price framework for vaccination services, disinfection, animal sanitation, veterinary diagnostics, and drug testing services for animals as specified in this Circular is exclusive of value-added tax as per legal regulations.

The service prices stipulated in this Circular are collected in VND.

Specifically, the vaccination service for animals sets the price as follows: For initial vaccination of buffaloes, cows, and horses, the rate is from 4,400 - 4,800 VND/time/animal; for the second shot, it is from 1,700 – 1,900 VND/time/animal.

For pigs, goats, and sheep, the initial vaccination is from 2,600 – 2,900 VND/time/animal, for the second shot from 1,700 – 1,900 VND/time/animal.

Regarding disinfection and sanitation for animals, the fees are stipulated as follows:

For cars, the disinfection fee is from 40,000 – 44,000 VND/time/item; for airplanes, it is from 450,000-495,000 VND/time/item…

Regarding the service price list for veterinary diagnostics, specific service price frameworks are detailed in the Appendix of this Circular. For terrestrial animals, consulting for testing is priced from 45,500 – 50,000 VND/time; blood sampling for buffaloes and cows is priced from 28,000 – 30.800 VND/sample…

Regarding pathological diagnosis through the autopsy of large animals (in the field), the price ranges from 208,000 – 228,000 VND/sample; autopsy for certain contagious diseases (rabies, etc.) is priced from 171,000-188,000 VND/sample…

Based on the stipulated price framework, the heads of organizations and units providing vaccination, disinfection, animal sanitation, veterinary diagnostic, and drug testing services for animals shall determine specific service prices for vaccination, disinfection, animal sanitation, veterinary diagnostics, and drug testing services for animals according to legal regulations.

In cases where vaccination, disinfection, animal sanitation, veterinary diagnostics, and drug testing services for animals are subject to value-added tax, the organizations and units providing these services shall set specific prices inclusive of value-added tax.
